Senior Invigilator

  • Heyford Park Free School is a two-form entry school for both primary and secondary students. Opening in September 2013, it draws students from Upper Heyford, local villages and from Bicester. There are a lot of new houses being built locally and our numbers will grow with the new development: from September, we anticipate having around 230 primary children and 300 secondary students.

    We aim to know every one of our students well as individuals, providing an environment that allows them to achieve what they are truly capable of by promoting both academic progress and a ‘can do’ attitude.   • Role: Senior Invigilator 

    In addition, Heyford Park Free School is looking to appoint a Senior Invigilator responsible for coordinating the running of examinations in the school as well as supervising the invigilation team.

    With all the above qualities you will also be meticulous in nature with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  You will have good communication skills, including the ability to convey information with confidence and authority to a large room of candidates.

    You will need to have experience of examination invigilation in an education environment and demonstrate an understanding of the examination processes. You will be capable of working without supervision and to work effectively and supportively in a team.  A willingness to undertake training is essential, as is the ability to commit to undertaking work during the examination sessions.

  • Salary:
    • Part time – Term Time Only 7.30am to 4.40pm
    • Casual depending on Examination requirements (approximately 10 weeks during the academic year)
    • Hourly Salary (incl.Holiday Pay):Grade 5 (9.75 – 10.32)
    • Start date: January 2018
