Cover and Restorative Support Supervisor

  • Heyford Park Free School is a two-form entry school for both primary and secondary students. Opening in September 2013, it draws students from Upper Heyford, local villages and from Bicester. There are a lot of new houses being built locally and our numbers will grow with the new development: from September, we anticipate having around 230 primary children and 300 secondary students.

    We aim to know every one of our students well as individuals, providing an environment that allows them to achieve what they are truly capable of by promoting both academic progress and a ‘can do’ attitude.   • Do you want to work in a new school that is small and inclusive?  If the answer is yes, then we have the role for you.  You will work with our inclusion team providing cover for absent teachers as well as managing our internal restorative programme. 
  • The successful candidate will:
    • Have experience working in a secondary school environment or with young people through voluntary support or public sector
    • Be friendly and approachable with a welcoming and professional manner
    • Be able to show discretion and respect confidentiality at all times
    • Be positive in their approach at all times as we continue to grow our services

  • Salary:
    • Salary details: Grade 5 Term time only (circa £15152 per annum)
    • Hours: 35 hours per week
    • Job term: Permanent contract
    • To commence: 3rd September 2018
