Nursery

Nursery:

Heyford Park Free School Nursery opened in September 2017.  It is a 26-place Nursery, for children aged 3 and over, catering for children funded for both 15 and 30 hours, able to offer additional sessions when available, and providing additional optional wraparound care from 8am until 5pm.  Before school and lunch time provision take place in the Nursery setting, and our after-school care takes place on the main Officers’ Mess site.
We focus on high quality education and care, getting to know all our children as individuals, and providing a stimulating, creative and nurturing learning environment.  Our Nursery is based on the Specialisms’ Campus and led by Miss Bignell, our Nursery teacher, and supported by Mrs Cranidge as Deputy Manager and other members of the team, Mrs Herbert and Mrs Turner.  Some of our staff work between both Nursery and the main school, and this is one of the ways that we ensure an excellent transition to Heyford Park Free School.  Mrs Walker is our Early Years Foundation Lead, and one of our Reception teachers.  Her regular presence in Nursery ensures children are familiar with her when they join us in Reception.

We look forward to welcoming you.
