HPFS Race for Life 2017

On Friday 26th May 2017 a sea of pink descended over the Heyford Air Base as the pupils of Heyford Park Free School took part in the school’s second Race for Life.  Some students dressed up in the charity’s trade mark pink, others chose to wear their PE kits, but everyone joined together to raise money for this wonderful cause.

All the students, both primary and secondary and some members of staff, took part to raise money for Cancer Research UK whose aim it is to cure all 200 types of Cancer.

All the students did really well and should all be very proud for pushing themselves and supporting each other to finish the course.

We would like to thank all the students who took part and a special thanks to Miss Wallington and The Sports Crew as without them this event would not be possible.

Don’t forget to collect your sponsor money and bring it in to school.
